What does Risen Savior believe and teach?

God’s Word, the Bible, is the source of all we believe and teach (John 17:17).
Every word in the Bible is from God’s mouth (Matthew 4:4 and 2 Timothy 3:16) so we are sure that . . .
- all God has written down by his prophets and apostles is true (2 Peter 1:19-21), and
- all he promises will come true (Matthew 24:35).
(Below is the earliest known copy of part of the New Testament, usually dated to about 120 A.D. On the front is John 18:31-33; on the back is 18:37-38, where Jesus says, "Everyone on the side of truth listens to me.")

How do the beliefs and teachings of Risen Savior compare with those of other Lutherans?
The other largest Lutheran bodies in America are the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod. Our church body, the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod, is generally thought of as the most cohesive/conservative. Most members of the LCMS would find our church very similar.

We share the same concerns, fundamentally because the ELCA says the Bible has errors.
